**About the role**
The Membership Administration Officer within the centralised YMS team will assist with administration tasks (debit/payment processing, debit follow-up, member accounts management) related to the day-to-day operation of the YMS Team.

Your role will involve:

- Being the first point contact for inbound calls/outbound to/from members/public/centre staff
- Assisting with the processing of monthly and fortnightly debit runs
- Assisting with the completion of audits to ensure the integrity of branch and YMS databases and ongoing data entry
- Ensuring that incomplete accounts or those requiring clarification or payment are followed up promptly
- Professionally managing and recording all telephones calls via the Links tracking system, reporting any escalations to your supervisor as required
- Working in compliance with the PCIDSS (Payment card industry data security standards), Commonwealth Privacy Act and the YMCA Privacy Policy
- Account management of family's or individual's membership/class accounts and debt follow-up

This is a part time role, working 2 days per week across Monday-Wednesday. The hourly rate is $28.47 + super.

**About you**
As a motivated member of the team, you will:

- Have strong attention to detail
- Possess excellent written and verbal skills
- Have the ability to problem solve and manage complaints with ease
- Be eager to quickly learn and navigate POS systems (Links knowledge desired)
- Have prior experience in customer service/banking/debit processing/debt management
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Have prior experience and/or understanding of a recreation centre environment
