**The role and team**:

- Support and provide commercial financial leadership, guidance and support to the business including financial planning, financial control, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and advisory services.
- Support the translation of the Commercial Services business units into a functionally effective plan. Provide the overall direction via LTs that sit under the Commercial Services LT to ensure development and delivery of objectives and initiatives within the strategic parameters.
- Support the Executives in partnership with the Finance Leadership team, to grow the business, align with our strategic ambition and ensure transformation / simplification benefits are achieved in a sustainable and coordinated manner.
- Deliver monthly reporting, understand the performance drivers and provide key reasons for variance from plan and prior reporting periods.
- Identify financial and non-financial performance trends through critical review and analysis and develop and recommend strategies to improve business performance.
- Create insights to assist the business in understanding plan changes and options to meet plan.
- Collaborate to ensure simplification by ensuring all standard reporting and financial control activities are delivered in a one-way same way approach across Finance.
- Provide coaching and development of a Senior Associate to deliver above for the business and grow commercial acumen, risk and control management and simplification capability of Finance team.
- Measure of success in role is achieved understanding and interpreting financial and non-financial results, business strategy, drivers, and trends, to enable better understanding of business performance and drive stronger business decision making.

**Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include**:

- Stakeholder management expertise where you can constructively challenge management’s proposals and decisions in relation to the performance of the relevant Business Unit.
- Years of experience in Finance/Financial Services.
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business/Finance. CA/CPA preferable.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, at times ambiguous and complex environment.
- Data and business intelligence, including advanced Excel skills and ideally some exposure to PowerBI.
- Good understanding of process, risk and controls on reporting and analysis.
- Experience across a range of Finance disciplines including partnering divisions, corporate centre planning and reporting and financial control roles.
- Process improvement capability in both identification and successful implementation of process re-engineering initiatives.
- Awareness of process, risk and controls on reporting and analysis.
