Independent Ability Care is actively seeking a dynamic and highly organised individual to assume the role of Administrative and Rostering Coordinator. This position is instrumental in maintaining optimal staffing levels and ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative and Rostering Duties:

- Generate accurate rosters in adherence to Independent Ability Care’s roster structures using designated rostering software.
- Monitor and manage changes in rosters, including cancellations, rescheduling, and emergency requests, ensuring effective communication with team leaders and stakeholders.
- Undertake administrative activities related to managing the roster, including inputting, and updating staff attendance preferences.
- Ensure staff timesheets are accurate and submitted within the required timeframe.
- Collaborate with the Payroll Officer to facilitate the payroll process by reconciling timesheets on a fortnightly basis.

2. Communication and Collaboration:

- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Work closely with supervisors and team leaders to understand team dynamics and individual employee preferences.

3. Qualifications and Skills:

- Demonstrated experience in a rostering or staff coordination role.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with designated rostering software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Essential Requirements:

- Experience in the designated rostering software is a must.
- MUST have experience with NDIS.
- Must have police clearance & NDIS check clearance.
- Appropriately vaccinated against Covid-19 and able to provide evidence.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
