Hallam, Australia Ultimo Engineering Full time

General production assistant position in a steel fabrication factory in Hallam. We manufacture for various industries, including transport & farming equipment, commercial & residential building projects.

We require a person with good communication skills who is willing to learn on the job. You'll be helping out in our dispatch area, and in the factory generally, using hand and power tools. Cutting steel, drilling holes, moving stock, helping out with whatever is needed to ensure our factory operates efficiently and safely. We will train you in using brake press, guillotine, brobo saw and similar equipment.

Driver's licence is required. Forklift licence would be an advantage.

Experience is not essential however you do need to be reliable in attendance, be able to understand instructions and like working hard in a friendly environment. This is a long term position with room for advancement for a motivated person.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
