An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Coordinator (Children's Apparel) to join a dynamic team at Seed Heritage.

Reporting to the Production Manager (Childrenswear), this position will be responsible for the accurate technical development, supplier quotation and handover of new product lines within their specified category. Through building strong supplier relationships, you will ensure that you meet internal deadlines with a focus on delivery and quality.

**THE ROLE**:

- Preparation of supplier tech packs
- Create accurate measurement specifications with correct grading for all Childrenswear within the specified timeline.
- Conduct fittings in a clear, confident and precise manner and ensure clear and concise fit comments are sent to all relevant suppliers
- Cost negotiations with all relevant suppliers
- Purchase Order raising
- Manage critical paths and production schedule with suppliers.
- Managing sampling from initial sample stage to shipment stage which includes fabric quality approval, lab dip approval etc
- Continuous liaising with China to ensure critical sample and fabric dates are met to achieve required delivery dates
- Track range progress on a daily basis ensuring all styles are on target for on time delivery and communication any issues with solutions

**THE REQUIREMENTS**:

- A relevant tertiary or equivalent qualification in Production and/or Quality Control
- Previous experience in a similar role with a minimum of 3 years’ experience with offshore production
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of garment construction, size specifications and fitting garments
- Experience working with both cut and sew and woven product is essential.
- An ability to prioritise and multitask
- Outstanding PC skills and clear verbal and written communications skills are also essential.
- Proficiency in all MS Office, specifically in Excel and Adobe Illustrator
