**About the Role**
As Video Post-Production Officer you will be responsible for providing direct support to the Melbourne School for Professional and Continuing Education (MSPACE) team in the post-production and finalisation of media production for eLearning purposes. This will be achieved through the provision of technical and creative solutions to deliver high-quality video and digital products, in collaboration with colleagues in the Media Production team. You will also work closely with, Producers, Digital Media Technicians, Graphic Designers, Learning Designers and Project Managers from MSPACE to plan and execute innovative and appropriate approaches to post-production that enable the delivery of high-quality digital media resources for use in online education.

Responsibilities include:

- Supporting the increase in use of video and other digital media in University eLearning strategies
- Contributing to user-focused service delivery for MSPACE in accordance with agreed procedures and service targets.
- Supporting MSPACE stakeholders by providing technical and best practice solutions for the production of videos

**About You**
You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work cooperatively with colleagues who also possess broad audio/video and digital media production expertise. A strong organiser, you will have no problem managing your own workload and priorities to ensure all work is complete before deadlines and to a high quality. You have an excellent knowledge of video editing and motion graphics, with experience using Adobe Creative Suite solutions, able to generate innovative solutions to best support the client when needed. Ideally you will have knowledge of interactive video and multimedia emerging technology, and experience working with academic staff, though this is not essential to your success in this position.

You will also have:

- An appropriate tertiary qualification with relevant industry experience or an equivalent combination of solid relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated ability to perform video and audio post-production duties in a professional manner that generates high quality production outputs, with consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated applied knowledge of a wide range of technologies and resources related to professional audio and video post-production.
