**The Opportunity**
Anzuk are proud to be supporting this
***stunning independent Early Learning Centre on Sydney's Lower North Shore in their search for a full time Compliance Officer. The Director and her team are extremely dedicated to providing a high-quality education and rich and nurturing environments for the children.

The centre is thoughtfully laid out, with tons of space and natural light that filters through the rooms, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. Each age group has a dedicated indoor and outdoor area, allowing for seamless transitions throughout the day.

**The Role**

The Compliance Officer will work closely with staff, parents, and regulatory bodies to maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance within the early childhood education sector.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing early childhood education by
conducting regular audits and assessments to identify areas for
improvement.
- **Policy Development**: Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and in line with the centre's philosophy.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for compliance audits.
- **Training and Education**: Provide guidance and collaborate with staff on compliance matters, ensuring a thorough understanding of policies and procedures.
- **Quality Assurance**: Implement and monitor systems to maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of the centre's operations.
- **Risk Management**: Identify and assess potential risks, developing strategies to mitigate and manage risks effectively and ensure the
safety and wellbeing of the children.

You will be ECT qualified, with proven experience within Early Childhood settings. You will present with sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQS, keeping up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes. You will have had some experience in Early Childhood compliance, either in a similar role or within leadership positions.

Most importantly, you will have a genuine passion for working with children, and be a strong team player with great attention to detail.
- Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Or ACECQA assessed equivalent)
- NESA accreditation
- Current First aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Working with children clearance
