About The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that our operations meet all external regulatory requirements and internal policies, protecting the company's integrity, reputation, and legal standing.

You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, overseeing compliance monitoring, risk assessments, staff training, and reporting activities. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high standards, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our ongoing success.

Key responsibilities:

·       Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

·       Conduct regular risk assessments and assist with internal audits.

·       Collaborate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain compliance standards.

·       Develop, deliver, and track staff training on compliance topics.

·       Prepare compliance reports and documentation for management and external regulators.

·       Investigate and resolve compliance issues or breaches, escalating when necessary.

·       Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, and corrective actions.

·       Participate in site inspections and compliance reviews.

·       Support WHS and safety compliance across projects.

·       Assist with development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.

What You Need to Succeed:

·       Previous experience in a compliance role, preferably within property maintenance, construction, or a related industry.

·       Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management principles.

·       Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

·       Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

·       Strong organisational and time management skills.

·       Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.

·       Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites as required.

·       Hold current police check or willing to obtain.
