The Role

The Resident Liaison Officer reports to the Client Support Manager, Southern Regions. Providing support services and community development work to residents living at Ainslie Village, including Ainslie Lodge and other onsite programs operated by Argyle Housing, and the complex at ‘Kalorama’ Conder and Common Ground. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Work directly with residents to manage complex needs and secure long term housing:
Develop and monitor Resident Engagement Strategies for ACT
Manage the Tenant Participation budget to ensure activities are occurring within budget
Work with the Team Leader (ACT) to ensure local implementation of Resident Engagement Strategies
Advocate for and liaise with residents
Assist in the coordination of the tenant/resident Tenant Survey
Support the Housing Services Manager and Team Leader (ACT) in the development and implementation of Tenant Survey Action Plans

**Skills and Experiences**:
**To ensure success in this role, you will demonstrate**:
Relevant industry experience - Housing
Demonstrated experience in undertaking Tenant Participation and Engagement Activities
Experience in Kypera or similar housing database and Outlook
Demonstrated knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (1997)
Sound written and verbal communication skills, particularly in the area of funding submissions and action plans
Detail oriented with good time management and organisational skills
Possesses excellent problem solving, trouble shooting and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients & colleagues at all levels
