**Health and Safety Advisor**

As a result of our continued growth and $1 billion work-in-hand, Georgiou is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join our project-based civil engineering team and work primarily on large civil infrastructure projects across Western Sydney areas.This role will work with our diverse project teams to implement a personalised brand of exemplary safety behaviour influencing an authentic high-performance safety culture while continuing to maintain the high standard of safety management policies and procedures in place. Your key duties consist of:

- Developing, implementing and communicating Georgiou’s “Safety is My Way” culture to our site employees and subcontractors
- Assisting in toolbox talks, pre-start contents and setting up KPIs to ensure Project teams are adequately trained to perform their health and safety responsibilities
- Monitoring, reviewing and implementing improvements and strategies in response to changes impacting Health and Safety
- Monitoring and ensuring our Risk Register, health and safety systems and management plans are maintained to a high standard as well as incidents and areas for opportunity are investigated to find root cause and corrective actions

**What you’re good at**:
Aside from having Experience in a previous Safety role with working knowledge ideally within the civil construction industry and Chain of Responsibility requirements. You should be able to demonstrate examples to showcase:

- Thorough Knowledge of AS/NZS 4801, ISO 14001, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Act & Regulations
- Incident Investigation experience
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act
