**About Them**
This large and diverse organisation based in Horsley Park at their distribution centre is a leader within the animal healthcare and pet supplies space. As they continue to grow and expand their footprint throughout Australia, they are seeking a Health, Safety & Wellbeing advisor to join the team to oversee supply chain operations and provide guidance around best practice and inject & share safety advice within the warehouse environment.

**About the Role**
As the HSW Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery and implementation, in strategic partnership with stakeholders, of the safety management system within the Supply Chain, in line with partnering divisions. This role works closely with Managers and Team Members across operations to improve internal safety capability through coaching, support and managing risk to improve health, safety and wellbeing outcomes for the division and wider business. You will come onboard in a empowering role and:

- Provide input into the development and execution of the HSW Strategic plan and HSW Training plans with relevant stakeholders
- Develop, lead and coach on HSE risk assessments, hazard identification, incident investigations and procedure updates
- Support the delivery of health & wellbeing initiatives to promote a well-being focused culture
- Establish yourself as a HSW Subject matter expert through working closely with management and providing visible leadership to all site employees

**About You**
You will be a motivated and practical thinker who can engage and partner with business leaders, be someone who challenges the status quo and investigates opportunities to influence change, along with the below:

- Experience as a safety professional within warehousing and/or manufacturing and/or supply chain or related field.
- Formal qualifications within health and safety e.g. Certificate IV, diploma or bachelors/ post grad degree.
- Practical working knowledge of WHS legislation, procedures and industry standards
- Understanding of heavy vehicle national legislation and chain of responsibility requirements is highly desirable
