**About Us**:
The Corrections and Justice Services (CJS) group, comprising Corrections Victoria (CV), Justice Health and Justice Services, plays an integral role in developing safer and more resilient communities and in delivering a trusted justice and community safety system.

**About the Role**:
The main focus of this role will be to coach and mentor staff to achieve understanding of processes used in achieving quality case management. It promotes quality case management through ongoing monitoring combined with quality assurance compliance assessments. The role requires ongoing commitment to the continual development of local Offender Management processes and policy whilst maintaining alignment to Correction Victoria's ‘Offender Management Framework'.

**Some of your key duties will include**:

- Under direction, assuming a lead role in the support and training of custodial staff in relation case management and the caseworker's role at DPFC.
- Participating in activities that develop an understanding and successful implementation of high-level offender management practices
- Actively participating in the performance management process, delivery of training, coaching and support to prison officers in prisoner assessment, Individual management files (IMF), case management, and program and service knowledge.

**About You**:

- Demonstrated knowledge the Reducing Re-offending Framework, the Offender Management Framework, Trauma Informed Practice Principles and offender management/case management practices in custodial settings.
- Demonstrated ability to provide support and coaching in a correctional environment including to a team of correctional staff.
