The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Program Officer, Offender Risk Assessment to provide a critical role within the Offender Management Development Branch.

**About the business unit**

Justice Services is responsible for the direction, management and operation of Victoria's Community Correctional Services (CCS) across more than 35 locations. It ensures offenders are safely managed in the community and aims to rehabilitate offenders by addressing the underlying causes of offending behaviour.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Offender Risk Assessment, you will assist in the development and implementation of processes which support the administration of risk assessment tools.

Some of your duties will include:

- Coordinating and facilitating training to staff conducting risk/needs assessments
- Collecting and analysing data that will be key in maintaining integrity and continually enhance best practice supporting assessment process.
- Ensuring efficient, effective and accurate processing of records
- Monitoring the demand for risk assessments across the state, ensuring assessments are completed in a timely manner

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience analysing data with the ability to validate reporting outputs and provide quality assurance
- Demonstrated knowledge of Corrections Victoria data systems is desirable

This includes evidence of **three doses** of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).

Acceptable evidence includes:

- COVID-19 digital certificate or ATAGI exemption certificate (available via your myGov account)
- Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
