Our focus on quality and exceeding our customer's needs drives our continuously growing business and we now have an exciting opportunity for a Food Safety Support Assistant at our Regency Park, Adelaide site.

Reporting to the Food Safety Technical Coordinator, this full time position has the primary responsibility to support the Adelaide manufacturing facility maintaining food safety and quality, auditing production processes, addressing issues and meeting customers’ expectations through a practical, hands-on approach whilst maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Monitoring products and processes daily to ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
- Undertake regular audits of processes and systems of work (Operations 24 X 5)
- Investigate deviations from established standards and conduct quality assessments and report results to the Food Safety Coordinator.
- Maintain quality assurance documentation and associated administrative duties.
- Maintain quality standards and recommend corrective actions.
- Be a proactive member of the production management team to ensure open communication, and to identify, report and/ or suggest improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

**To be successful in this role, you will**:
Have experience in Quality Assurance experience in a food manufacturing environment
Have an understanding of quality assurance principles, HACCP and GMP
Demonstrated auditing skills and experience
Be degree qualified in food science or a related discipline is ideal
Have the ability to work unsupervised and exercise independence to problem solve and make decisions
Have highly developed interpersonal and communication both verbal and written
Possess the ability and willingness to liaise and work with team leaders and managers across the site
Be able to work flexible hours to cover Production operations
Possess a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and ability to prioritise
Have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and written
