**About the role**

The **Food** **Studies** **Officer** provides practical support to the Food Studies Program, with responsibilities including the preparation and measurement of workshop consumables, coordination and maintenance of kitchen areas, and assistance to lecturers and students before, during, and after classes. The role ensures the efficient provision of consumables to food classrooms and upholds all relevant regulatory requirements. It also involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders and supporting food preparation and handling activities.

**Special Conditions**
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- Intrastate/interstate travel may be required.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the Department’s Performance Development Program. Eligibility to work in Australia.
