**Description**:
**About the Role**:
Reporting to the General Manager Quality & Compliance, you will be working as part of a small, supportive team. This permanent role will provide you with an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the food manufacturing industry including Shell Egg, Frozen Egg & Liquid Egg products. The successful applicant will be a team player who is eager to develop their skills in the workplace.

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:
Control and distribution of all quality and food safety documentation in relation to new and existing product changes including quality systems references and label design
Complete product information and customer requests
Assist with risk assessments for new raw materials, product shelf life extensions, information resulting from investigations of complaints etc.
Administrator of farm matrices, including microbiological testing, water, antibiotics, heavy metals, and pesticides
Assist manufacturing with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for all FSMS breaches.
Assist with internal audits. Prepare for audits and provide input for all quality and food safety related documentation.
Assist with annual review of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, BACCP and allergen management programs

**Skills and Experiences**:
**To be considered for this role you will have**:

- Food Science or equivalent degree
- 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing
- Knowledge of Quality Management and Food Safety Systems
- Understanding of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP and Biosecurity
- Retail experience and working knowledge of retailer portal experience
- SharePoint and supplier approval experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work individually and part of a team
- High attention to detail
