**The Role**

Reporting to the GM Projects, the Project Cost Controller is responsible for controlling the project costs; this includes planning, developing, controlling, and forecasting the project’s budget in conjunction with the Project Management Team (PMT).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparation and evaluation of project cost reporting.
- Effectively converting the project estimate into a construction budget and aligning cost codes.
- Budgeting, monitoring, controlling & reporting multiple projects.
- Identifying the critical areas and informing the PMT regarding financial impacts both positive and negative.
- Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure
- Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress
- Ensure effective financial project reporting implementation
- Coordinate and work with the PMT to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
**About You**
- Degree qualified in Finance or Accounting
- Relevant experience in Cost/Project Controls building up systems and processes in a project environment
- Multiple cost control system experience
- High attention to detail
- Reconciliation experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities
