- UGL Defence is currently working towards the award of a fuel related Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract with Defence. We are recruiting a Security Advisor to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.

**The Role**

The Security Advisor, reporting into the HSSE Manager, will be based in our newly created Defence Hub in North Sydney, supporting sites and locations across the country. The Security Advisor is responsible for, but not limited to:

- Administering and maintaining the DFN MCC security management system and ensuring compliance to Commonwealth security requirements
- Supporting the Leadership Team to establish, implement and maintain, a strong and healthy security culture across the DFN teams and sites.
- Liaise with site teams to ensure compliance with Commonwealth and base specific security requirements.

**On Your First Day we expect you to bring to the team**:

- Business administration qualification or relevant experience. Additional training in Security Risk Management will be highly regarded
- Proven experience in managing security in a Defence or similar high-risk environment, in the ADF, Public Service or Industry
- Current holder, or ability to obtain a Security clearance
- Willingness and ability to travel to Defence sites across the country
