**Your new company**
This role sits within one of the most interesting and rewarding non-profit organization in NSW with their head office located in the heart of Sydney CBD, as part of their growth plans, they require a Cyber security specialist advisor to support and advise the various business units around enhancing their Cyber security capabilities.

**Your new role**
This is a wonderful opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated security professional to become a trusted advisor and embed themselves in the organization. Within this role you be responsible for providing expertise on cyber security related matters by conducting maturity assessments and setting out the strategies for the various units within the organization to enhance their information security.

Within the role you will be expected to guide a group of complex stakeholders through their Cyber security journey by providing the assessments, technical advice and training required to enhance the security awareness and posture.

**What you'll need to succeed**
As a Cyber Security Advisor, you will have the following skills:

- At least 5 years operating in a service orientated Cyber security environment
- Experience working with security frameworks, governance and compliance
- Proven experience delivering high level Cyber security related assessment, advice and strategy to diverse stakeholders
- Strong documentation and report writing skills
- In depth understanding of Cyber security frameworks, methodologies and technologies
- A Proven track record of providing advice to uplift cyber security
