**About the opportunity**:
Eagers Automotive WA are seeking to add a
**Human Resources Business Partner** to our high-performing People & Safety team.
As a key member of the team, you will have a designated geographical client group within the Perth metropolitan area. You will be accountable for the full spectrum of HR matters largely within individual dealership environments, including interpretation of contracts and awards, employee relations, performance management and development, engagement, retention, and attrition management. This is an exciting opportunity to establish your business partnering capability, and work with a dedicated client group to drive success in business and people objectives.
Reporting into the HR Operations Manager this role will offer invaluable growth and experience for someone looking to move from an Advisory position, or a continued challenge for an experienced Business Partner.
The position is a permanent, full-time role with an immediate start available, working a standard 38-hour week, Monday to Friday. Whilst your role will see you working on site at various locations across Metro Perth, you will also have a home base at our Head Office in West Perth.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Generalist HR duties including advising on and supporting with performance management processes, absenteeism management, recruitment and more
- Relationship management and employee engagement
- Supporting line managers with talent identification and succession planning
- Training and development, including developing training programs and delivering existing programs
- Employee and industrial relations advice
- Supporting line managers with recruitment and onboarding processes
- Organisational restructures, including redundancy programs
- Creating contracts of employment, as well as various formal HR letters and documents
- Management of pay variations, internal and external transfers
- HR system maintenance (HRIS and Payroll systems)
- Ad-hoc HR administrative tasks
**About you**:

You are a customer service-focused person, friendly and outgoing with a strong HR background. From prior experience, you are comfortable using a range of IT programs and systems.
Critical skills to be successful in this role will include the following:
- Prior HR advisory or business partnering experience is essential
- Excellent organisational skills and time management
- Exceptional prioritisation skills
- Current driver’s license
- A willingness to ‘chip in’, and contribute to the successful running of the People & Safety department
