**Your new role**

Your new role as HR Business Partner reports to the Human Resources Operations lead and has a strong engagement with numerous internal stakeholders of the business portfolio allocated to the position. This role has one HR Officer reports to the HR Business Partner for day to day operational matters.

This position will partner with the business to provide high level value-add expertise on all facets and programs of the employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement, remuneration, performance management, talent and succession planning.

The HR Business Partner will build effective partnerships with line managers within a dedicated portfolio to achieve business goals and the strategic outcomes. Through consideration of the strategic objectives of the Directorate they will demonstrate strategic thinking, facilitate collaborative and respectful relationships and accept personal accountability for achieving outputs in order to ensure HR practices align to meet business needs.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Ideally, you will hold a degree in Human Resources or related degree. You'll come with significant knowledge and experience in the interpretation and implementation of related legislation, awards and/or enterprise agreements, knowledge of Modern Awards and Employment Legislation (State and Federal) and exposure on negotiating EBA's. You'll have excellent core HR skills, including leadership, development, succession planning, remuneration, performance, employee relations, the law governing people in the workplace, and health and safety. It is essential to have a current drivers license and national police clearance.
