We have a long history of servicing a client base that spans Government authorities, Commercial, Education, Retail, Manufacturing, and Logistics sectors. **The role**:
We have an opportunity for a National Operations Manager - FM to support to be responsible and accountable for the Facility Services Agreement of our major clients. This role will also support the National Contracts Manager in leading, directing and managing the business operations to support the service delivery team.
As National Operations Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to service providers and the team and you will be responsible to manage the day-to-day compliance and risk related activities related to the management and coordination of preventative maintenance and essential services activities for Tradeflex’s clients throughout Australia.
Key Responsibilities for the National Operations Manager include, but not limited to:
Ensuring compliance and adherence to the contractual service level agreements
Development and delivering sourcing strategies consistent with the strategic direction of the business
Assisting with the development/integration of a new management system
Undertaking and overseeing the negotiation and execution of supplier and subcontractor agreements
Ensuring that the Vendor Master Data is maintained and accurate
Conducting regular internal audits to ensure business processes and policies are compliant and adhered to by all team members
Coordination, management and review the re-tendering and RFQ processes to deliver cost effective outcomes
Conducting regular market pricing and sourcing analysis activities to maintain market intelligence
Manage and produce procurement reports to ensure that vendors are compliant and meeting KPIs and SLAs on a monthly basis
Active and continued follow-up with clients and service providers to ensure timely completion of all requests.
**To be successful you will have**:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience gained in a similar role involving the facility & operation management, experience in procurement of goods and services involving large scale industrial clients
Extensive knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, codes, and regulations in relation to the management of OH&S and Essential Services legislation
Proven experience in the coordination and management of multi-faceted, engineering and trade maintenance contracts
Experience and knowledge in budgeting, planning, and monitoring of service agreements and associated contractor performance tools
Demonstrated knowledge utilising software packages, databases, and IT systems to streamline the flow of data and information
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and to share and promote the sharing of knowledge
Ability to plan, execute and manage complex tasks
Delivery of projects and makegoods, safely, on time and within budget expectations
A focus on continuous improvement
Strong leadership, interpersonal and people management skills to secure the respect and co-operation of your team and senior management
Demonstrated high level negotiation skills
