**About the Opportunity & You**

Reporting to the State Manager Victoria, you will be primarily responsible for empowering and coaching leaders across a portfolio of venues to achieve sales and profit targets, provide effective leadership and development of the teams you are supporting, and proactively coaching your leaders across all facets of the day-to-day venue operations.

We are looking for an energetic and strategic thinking individual who wants to take the next step in their career. You will be a change agent, challenging the status quo, getting behind business lead new processes, and bringing your own fresh ideas to your team and the wider business.

**A day in the life of an Operations Manager**:

- Oversee venue operations across your portfolio
- Provide support and coaching to leaders to achieve targets, grow business, and drive people development within venues
- Monitor industry trends and identify potential opportunities and threats.
- Drive change and strategic initiatives within venues
- Ensure customer service and presentation standards are maintained at all venues
- Ensure all compliance requirements are met.
- Lead by example and build a safety conscious culture across all venues
- Coach Venue Managers in property presentation and standards of visual merchandising to be well executed

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop people, as well as impact and influence.
- Ability to lead teams through change, but also to inspire change and challenge the “status quo”
- You have effectively and profitably managed a business within the service industry or effectively held a management position utilising people and commercial skills.
- Multi-unit management skills.
- Operational and strategic skills and experience leading customer facing teams
- Solid understanding of the liquor and gaming legislation relevant to the hospitality industry
- Proven business acumen, computer literacy and financial management capability..
- Driven to achieve through taking accountability for your teams’ results
- Interpersonal and people management skills including the ability to inspire and influence.
