**Your new role**

You will actively manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships and, where required, will represent and negotiate on behalf of the agency. This leadership position requires control, planning, resource management, performance management and important decision making within the surrounding team.

Responsibilities may include:

- Undertaking end to end case management activities, sometimes on complex cases
- Attending conferences, conciliations and hearings
- Preparing documents detailing resolution options and outcomes
- Taking the lead on and contributing to strategic projects and policy development processes
- Leading a team as well as mentoring, supervising, and training junior staff.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and demonstrate the following:

- Previous experience working in a case management, complaints resolution, insurance or legislative based role
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise work
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to meet the needs of various stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and to work through conclusions independently
- Previous experience in a leadership role with a demonstrated ability to support the development of individuals’ knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Qualifications in Legal or similar field is highly advantageous
- Experience, or previous working experience, in the disability field is highly advantageous
