**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Managing a resident’s experience throughout the recovery program, including regular site visits to assist them navigate the repair and rebuilding process.
- Managing complex case management issues, complaints, vulnerable customers and prioritisations - including connecting residents with other recovery services as required.
- Working closely with estimating and building teams to ensure residents understand the repair works process.
- Regular reporting on progress to senior management and residents.
- Receive and handle calls from a diverse customer base
- Create a memorable experience for our clients and their customers
- Assist customers and corporate clients with specific enquiries
- Provide a high level of personalised customer service
- Manage client relationships and correspondence
- Work varying programs and Client portal’s at any one time
- Complete submission of client reports and quotations
- Issue residential and commercial building contracts to customers, including processing and review of returned signed contracts
**Criteria**:
- Motivated by helping flood affected residents rebuild their lives
- Hold a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent Human Services tertiary qualification highly regarded, **however not essential**:
- Demonstrated experience in delivering a responsive service to people with complex needs
- Demonstrated experience of working with vulnerable people
- Have a current Working with Children Check and a valid National Police Check, or willingness to obtain this
- Possession of an unrestricted NSW driver’s licence.
- Strong customer experience background
- Prior experience in an office-based role
- Confident and professional phone manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and achieve KPI’s
- Strong computer literacy
- Positive attitude and a desire to go above and beyond to deliver high quality customer service
- Background in a call centre environment advantageous, however not essential
- Previous experience in the insurance or construction industry advantageous, however not essential
