**About the Department**

The role of the Department of Education is to support Victorians to build prosperous, socially engaged, happy and healthy lives. It does this by supporting lifelong learning and healthy development, strengthening families and helping to equip people with the skills and knowledge for a 21st century economy and society.

**About the Division**

The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) is responsible for supporting one of the largest technology networks in Victoria and leading the department's technology, digital capability, business systems and digital transformation. This network consists of Schools, Corporate and Early Childhood Education (ECE) including a school user base of more than 1500 Government schools, 50,000 teachers and 650,000 students.

IMTD applies agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, integration, and designs and delivers solutions on the department's cloud infrastructure services (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software services (SaaS).

In this division, there are nine branches:

- Office of the Chief Information Officer
- School Digital Services
- Corporate Digital Services
- Early Childhood Education Digital Services
- Information Security Services
- Information Services
- Information Technology Services
- Digital Design and Innovation Services
- Business Services.

**About the Role**

The Onsite Technology Advisor - NEVR is responsible for providing service delivery, technical expertise, and training related to corporate end-user devices, including laptops, mobile services, MFDs, tablets, and video conferencing. This role involves both onsite and remote support, ensuring that corporate customers receive optimal IT assistance across regional sites in North East Victoria.

**Attributes**
- Provide dedicated IT support at customer locations.
- Provide seamless remote support as part of the statewide IT support team.
- Ensure onsite support for regional sites within NEVR.
- Meet targets for managing open incidents and tasks, ensuring quick resolution.
- Ensure all calls and incidents are properly documented and resolved within service level expectations.
