Engage Abilities is a registered service provider of the NDIS as well as a service provider for the Department of Communities and Justice through the Casework Support Scheme (CSS). We are currently recruiting a managerfor our services departmenton a permanent full-time basis.

We are after a manager with solid people management skills, excellent communication and planning skills, strong stakeholder engagement skills and with the ability to adapt to changing operational requirements. The NDIS **Services Manager **leads a team of Team Leaders and reports to the Programs Director. The Services department collaborates with 5 other departments: Compliance & HR department, Finance department, Youth Services department, Support Coordinator department, and Independent Living department.

**Responsibilities**

Leading the Services department comprised of Multiple Team Leaders, you will:

- Develop and implement effective participation strategies with participants and to ensure strong involvement in service planning, delivery and policy matters.
- Promote a clear vision of quality in services and supports, reviewing and monitoring quality and leading continuous improvement.
- Ensure supervision, training and skills development is provided to your team to ensure practices are in line with current legislation and Engage Abilities’ policies and procedures.
- Work closely with your team to build strong relationships with participants, families, and other stakeholders (NDIS, specialists, other providers). Prioritising and matching referrals to the most appropriate service to ensure the effective individual plans, service design, continuous review and improvement of quality services is achieved.
- Collaborate with the Compliance & HR department to maintain the service management framework and ensure timely response to all safety issues concerning participants and employees.
- Collaborate with the Programs Director and Finance Manager to develop strategies and plans to deliver excellent support to participants and ensure continued growth.
- Provide regular reports to the Programs Director detailing the progress of your department.

**Skills and knowledge**
- Embrace Engage Abilities’ values and mission and be committed to serving the community service sector;
- Have a sound knowledge of NDIS legislations and gained at least 3 years’ experience supporting a range of people with a disability and complex needs;
- Hold a qualification in Disability or Community Services;
- Have experience in a leadership role that gives you the necessary skills to manage and develop a department comprised of multiple Team Leaders;
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to establish and nurture positive relationships with different stakeholders (participants, families, Support Workers and all others involved in participant supports);
- Have a pragmatic approach to conflict resolution, problem solving and decision making, and be able to manage balancing priorities;
- Be willing to participate in the rotating weekend On-Call roster and cover shifts when necessary.

**Salary**: $83,118.00 per year
