**Some of the responsibilities include**:

- Be influential in establishing and maintaining a high level of safety systems and actively work to collaborate with the site team and the Group Safety and Training Manager for ongoing improvement initiatives;
- Review and conduct onsite training of personnel;
- Maintain training matrix data;
- Facilitate onsite site inductions;
- Continuously, and where required develop training packages and other critical safety documentation to ensure compliance;
- Coordinate incident investigations, reports, and manage actions;
- Coordinate and facilitate risk assessments.

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
- Have a Cert IV in Training and Assessing;
- Having a Cert IV in WHS or higher is desirable;
- ICAM certification is highly advantageous;
- Hold a current First Aid certificate;
- Demonstrated experience in an underground Safety and Training position; _(Safety experience within a raisebore division will be an advantage)_
- Have advanced computer skills and experience in various safety management platforms and all Microsoft programs;
- Be a proactive self-starter with strong communication skills.
