AV is seeking an experienced **PMO Lead** to enhance the delivery of projects by establishing, implementing, and maintaining a standardised project management system, including relevant processes, policies, and tools. The role will be the custodian of DTS (Digital & Technology Services) project management and adhere to the ePMO project management methodology. The position will provide high-level oversight and management to portfolio, program, and project management across DTS and work closely with other department leaders to ensure a standardised project management system is adopted across all sections of DTS for our Delivery and Customer Engagement Department.
Having recently rebranded from ICT to Digital & Technology Services (DTS) and launching our Digital Workplace Strategy, this position is an integral part of the Delivery and Customer Engagement Department. This full time, permanent position is based in Blackburn North with hybrid working arrangements available.
**About the role**
Reporting to the Director Delivery & Engagement, the responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide strategic oversight for project management and monitor interdependences across the portfolio, including liaising with the ePMO and other business stakeholders
- Provide high level support and advice to the DTS Leadership Team in portfolio prioritisation, reporting and tracking
- Work collaboratively to implement a standardised and integrated project management system
- Facilitate the prioritisation process of projects, post-implementation reviews and various other project-related workshops
**About you**
To be considered for this position you will possess:
- Completion of a postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification with high level relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training & sound experience (preferably in a PMO, Project / Program Management related field)
- Significant demonstrated experience in program or portfolio management and a demonstrated history of successfully delivering projects, programs and/or portfolios
- High level written and oral communication skills including negotiation, presentation (both written and oral) skills and the ability to synthesise and communicate complex data and information
- Proven ability to work independently with a high level of strategic thinking, business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience in providing leadership of a small team
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Microsoft Project Online, MS Project scheduling and dashboard reporting such as Power BI or similar
- Knowledge of either Ambulance emergency services or the health sector
- Proven ability to monitor customer and stakeholder satisfaction, and constructively manage issues to a positive outcome.

This position is graded at **AV5** under the Ambulance Victoria (Management and Administrative Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2021.
