St Therese's Primary School, New Lambton is seeking a Temporary Part-Time (6 hours per week) Library Assistant to join the team for Terms 2-4, 2025 on Mondays.

St Therese’s Primary School is a unique school community offering students a quality education from Kindergarten to Year 6. The School Officer/Library Assistant:

- As a member of the library team, works to support teachers and students utilising Library facilities and resources
- As a member of the school team, works to support nominated staff in the performance of their duties

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA**
- Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and the mission of the Church through Catholic schools
- Recent experience working in a school library including working knowledge of OLIVER cataloguing system
- Knowledge of WHS requirements in a library setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to show initiative, work alone or as part of a team
- A flexible approach to completion of tasks with frequent interruptions

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- ALIA accredited qualification, preferably at the diploma level
- Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
- Completion of anaphylaxis training

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**

Salary is in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
