About the Role
The main purpose of this position is to partner with business units contributing to the engagement and growth of the organisation via the strategic and operational Human Resources Management and Industrial & Employment Relations. Contributing to the effective management of the workforce by ensuring the Modern Cleaning Award, relevant Agreements and policies are clearly articulated and implemented across all contracts and that all Leaders understand and are supported in their employee’s management responsibilities.
About You
As a HR professional you will be a customer focused individual who prides yourself on your ability to provide a high quality and efficient service. You are strategically driven, and can provide sound HR advice, support and coaching in a challenging and complex organisation. You are motivated and determined to achieve successful outcomes and will have a solution focussed approach and demonstrated experience in Stakeholder Management and Team Leadership.
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. Tertiary education in Human Resource Management, Business Management or Psychology with majors in Industrial Relations and/ or Organisational Development Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner, or similar role Knowledge of the Fair Work Act and state and federal employment laws
Demonstrated extensive experience in a HR Generalist or HR Business Partnering role Demonstrated experience of HR case management practices
Demonstrated experience of internal recruitment and selection best practice approaches
Proven leadership qualities with the ability to influence, coach, delegate and think clearly under pressure
Extensive experience and proficiency in general HR practices including recruitment, performance management, change management and award and policy interpretation
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a proven ability to influence, coach and negotiate at all levels
Sound operational management, business acumen and a continuous improvement mindset with a track record of delivering value-add impact in a fast-paced dynamic environment
