**About the role**

We are currently looking for experienced support workers who are committed, and compassionate disability support work to provide respite services in our newly established SIL accommodations in Scoresby

**What are we looking for?**
- Minimum 2+ years' experience within the disability, community services or similar in assisting clients with high care physical requirements.
- Experience working with autism clients having Intellectual disability including sensitive to noise and light; non-verbal, leading to frustration due to difficulty communicating.
- Solid understanding of restrictive practices for participants with extreme challenging behaviors.
- Demonstrated ability to support and manage challenging behaviors (highly regarded).
- Willingness to support clients with personal care including showering, manual handling, medications, community access, meal preparation, domestic chores and mealtime assistance.
- Certificate III or above in Disability Support or similar
- Must be available for a minimum of 20+ hours per week, with flexibility to work across various shifts, including overnight and active nights.

**Mandatory Requirement -**
- Valid Victorian Driver’s License
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Manual Handling certificate
- Medication Administration certificate
- Victorian Working with Children’s Check
- National Police Check (obtained within last 6 months)
