**Overview**
As Internal Communications Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment within a dynamic and enthusiastic team. Working with multiple stakeholders, this is a hands-on role that is responsible for the execution of our internal communications program and activities for MUFG Corporate Markets (CM), a division of MUFG Pension & Market Services.
Working closely with a range of stakeholders in the CM business, this role provides internal communications expertise to the leadership team, and a significant contribution to the overall people experience by developing internal engagement and communications plans; writing content aligned to the Corporate Markets strategy, culture, EVP, and ensuring alignment with the overall organisational brand and values.
No two days are ever alike in this role, which will suit someone with a high attention to detail and a positive outlook. You will enjoy variety, engaging with your stakeholders and colleagues and love writing
This is a part-time role, 3 days per week from out stunning new CBD office.
**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
Strategic Focus
- Develop and execute an effective internal communication plan to ensure a strong strategic narrative is woven throughout the business
- Plan and manage CEO and Senior Leadership communications, build detailed communication plans and advise and support stakeholders to tailor communications to achieve specific outcomes.
- Advise the CEO and Senior Leadership on the right forum, timing and content of internal communication, to ensure employees are informed, engaged and empowered
- Engagement of senior leadership to ensure maximum buy in to, engagement with and communication of the CM purpose, vision and strategic narrative.
Operational Management
- Develop and deliver compelling, relevant and timely communications to drive employee engagement and connectivity.
- Ensure employees are kept up to date regarding the direction of the organisation and any key changes occurring within the business.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the team’s communications channels, tools and forums, ensuring content is relevant and up to date.
- Co-ordinate Town Hall meetings (including logistics and providing support in creating materials).
Governance & Risk
- Measure the success of internal communications activities and initiatives and provide reporting.
- Ensure brand consistency and alignment across internal and external communications.

- Ensure appropriate stakeholder sign offs and approvals for each communication

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- 10+ years of experience, including executive communication
- Formal qualifications in communications
- Outstanding written communication skills
- Experience in writing and editing content for multiple channels and tailoring communications for different audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- A positive, problem-solving mindset
- Team player with excellent stakeholder management skills including the confidence and tenacity to engage with a range of stakeholders at all organisational levels and third parties
