**The Organisation**
Our client is a leading financial services organisation operating in the banking sector, due to a restructure of roles within their marketing team, they now have a newly created Internal Comms role available in their Sydney head office.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Head of Communications, your duties will include;
- Implement proactive and innovative communications programs for employee engagement around key campaigns, calendar events, milestones etc.
- Maintain content calendar and content creation with a multi-communications channel approach towards internal communications
- Manage staff engagement activities as well as broader issues related to internal communications. Take a lead on crisis management communications internally, as and when required, e.g. Covid Crisis Committee, disaster recovery, weather events.
- Write and contribute to a range of communications collateral including social media, thought leadership for content platforms, key messages and executive speeches.
- Drive the Social Media program of the corporate account to animate internal engagement priorities, e.g. diversity, wellbeing, CSR. Support the leadership team to promote these important initiatives on external social media.
- Media monitoring across key AU & NZ mainstream and trade media providing daily summaries to senior management
- Manage and maintain the Intranet to ensure information is accessible and useful to employees.
- Engage and work with a variety of stakeholders across all areas of the business. Including the regional corporate communications team to coordinate internal communications as required.
- Support the broader Brand & Communication team goals and activities as and when required.

**About You**
- Several years experience in a Communications or Media role
- Exposure to financial services will be highly regarded, although not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Strong project management skills
- Self-directed and highly organised with excellent attention to detail
