**The Opportunity**:
Multiple opportunities exist at the APS5 and APS6 level to work in a fast-paced and busy environment while working with experienced payroll experts providing and delivering timely and efficient payroll services.

**The Role**:
As an experienced Payroll Officer, you will have previous payroll experience and be responsible for providing timely, accurate and comprehensive pay and condition services in a dynamic environment where judgement and attention to detail is required. You will handle confidential information appropriately and value difference and diversity.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Complete payroll transactions, queries, and related correspondence
- Have attention to detail and maintain data in the payroll system
- Provide clear, comprehensive and accurate verbal and/or written advice to stakeholders within appropriate timeframes regarding payroll matters
- Monitor and manage workloads to achieve deadlines and quality assure the daily work of the team
- Participate in the development of systems, processes and practices and operating procedures that support consistent payroll services
- Maintain accurate records to a high standard
- Contribute to projects that support team business objectives
- Contribute to and participate in Branch and team initiatives and programs

**The Ideal Person**:
As an experienced Payroll Officer, you will have an excellent attitude with strong attention to detail and clear and concise communication skills with the ability to Build individual and organisational capability, responsiveness, and customer service.

You will be confident and able to identify process improvements and streamline where possible. You will be a go-getter, with a positive and approachable manner to face challenges that may lie ahead.

You will also have demonstrated knowledge and experience in interpreting legislation such as Awards and Enterprise Agreements.

A high degree of professionalism and discretion is required due to the confidential information you will be accessing.

**Salary / Rate**:

- $55/hr - $65/hr + Super
- 6 - 12 month contract
