**APS6 Payroll Officer**

**Your new company**

Working for a medium-sized Federal Government Department that is responsible for managing agricultural enhancements within Australia.

**Your new role**

Are you passionate about working to deadlines and ensuring payroll is processed timely? Then this is the role for you. Your role will require you to but not be limited to:

- Processing fortnightly payroll and providing appropriate reporting.
- Have a sound understanding of the Aurion payroll system and be able to provide support to junior staff.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to delegate workloads and lead a team.
- Provide support to payroll projects and system testing as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will need to have aurion payroll experience and be able to hit the ground running having worked in a similar role in the past within the Federal Government. You will be an Australian citizen and have the ability to hold and maintain an AGSVA recognised Baseline Security Clearance.

**What you'll get in return**

You will get an initial short-term contract at a competitive hourly rate with the possibility of extensions. You will be joining a dynamic team with the opportunity to work up to 2 - 3 days from home after the commencement period and on agreement with your line manager.
