**APS5 Finance Officer & APS6 Team Lead**
**Your new company**
Working within an evolving department within the Federal Government to support a part of the Australian community.
**Your new role**
Join this financial management branch and work within an evolving financial operations team. The team are looking for experienced team leaders and finance officers to join and duties of your new role made be but are not limited too;
- Processing AP & AR
- Managing departments banking.
- Understanding the treasury function ability to process daily drawdowns.
- Multiple cash management functions,
- Expense management including travel management.
- Understand the federal government financial frameworks and ensure policy and guidelines are met.
- Be able to work independently and contribute to a large team.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need to be a self starter who is able to hit the ground running with mínimal support. You will be someone who is eager to learn and driven from delivering business outcomes.
You will have experience in similar roles and have an understanding of the federal government financial frameworks.
**What you'll get in return**
You will get an initial 6 - 12 month NOG contract with possibility of extension and potential view to permanency.
