**The Role**

To support the growth and alignment of Perenti Group’s suite of companies, we are on the hunt for a **Finance Analyst, IT**.

**This is a fixed-term contract role for 12 months.**

Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager, the primary responsibility for the role is to do Month-end accounting requirements for IT Cost centers including accruals and cost allocations.

**Additional responsibilities include**:

- Manage all aspects of the Corporate Technology finances including, planning, modeling, and reporting for all operational costs and technology projects.
- Month end accounting requirements for IT Cost Centres including accruals and cost allocations, reporting and detailed variance analysis.
- Partner with IT Leadership team to support them in understand their monthly costs & lead cost optimisation activities.
- Provide support to the FP&A Manager to enhance cost visibility and accountability.
- Lead annual planning and quarterly forecasting for IT Cost Centres within tight timelines.
- Collaborate regularly with the Procurement Team to improve cost control & cost analysis.
- Collaborate with the Project team to ensure robust and accurate project forecasts are developed for reporting purposes.
- Support the Corporate Technology leadership team in the preparation of tender submissions for Perenti projects ensuring optimisation of cost control.
- Identify and implement process improvements in month end processes, planning & reporting

**About You**
- CA/CPA qualified(essential)
- 5 years experience in an analyst role with demonstrated technical accounting skills and analytical skills
- A keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach to work
- Good communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate with non-financial stakeholders
- Proficient use of Excel
- ERP experience is preferred but not essential
