We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst with experience in the oil and gas industry to join our client on a permanent basis. You will play a vital role in preparing monthly detailed data analyses to identify trends and inaccuracies and providing costing/finance reports on projects and upcoming bid estimates.

You will work with one of the leading companies within the energy services sector, which strives to deliver exceptional results in a challenging offshore environment. This position requires keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Including responsibilities are but not limited to:

- Prepare project cash flow forecasts (major project only)
- Liaise closely with project cost controllers to understand changes in project budgets and contract variation.
- Providing project revenue and cost feedback to budget owners
- Providing feedback to Finance Supervisor on inaccuracies arising from project revenue
- and costs.
- Prepare monthly standard costing reconciliations.
- Provide monthly revenue and cost accruals to Finance Supervisor
- Monitor relevant key economic indicators to support budget and forecasting
- Prepare half yearly analytical review
- Anticipate issues related to regulatory compliance
- Develop excellent co-ordination between the various stakeholders in the project in order to maintain smooth operations from finance perspective

Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree majoring in Accountancy
- Experience in preparing detailed project cost reporting is essential
- Working experience in the resource industry is an advantage
- Good interpersonal skills with excellent communication
- Intermediate/Advanced level in Microsoft Excel
