**The Role and Requirements**
UGL requires a
**Project Coordinator** to work closely with our Project Management Team to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and estimates for projects.
Perform various coordinating tasks, which includes schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties which includes maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. You will also be required to assist the Project Manager to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
**Main Activities**
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
- Plans tasks, selects equipment and takes responsibility for others
- Break projects into do-able actions and set timeframes
- Liaise with Project Managers to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Make sure that client needs are met as projects evolve
- Work to and enforce company policy, procedures and process
- Help prepare budgets
- Work closely with the Resource Manager for project procurement
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
- Perform inspections, issue work permits and perform computations
- Coating inspections and completion of ITP documentation
**Qualifications & Experience**
To be successful in this position, you must possess resource industry experience along with:
- Trade / Engineering qualifications
- Technical knowledge and skill in jet cutting, blasting, painting and / or carbon composite’s etc
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise duties appropriately
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong administrative processes and procedures
- Experience in Microsoft office suite (Work, Excel and PowerPoint)
- NACE Coating Inspector Program (CIP2) - Level 2
- 5-10 years’ working at a Supervision level or higher within an Industrial Services and / or Asset Integrity Management Organisation
- 5-10 years’ experience in Mining, Resources, Oil & Gas (Onshore & Offshore)
