Project Coordinator, Sydney, Immediate start, 3 Month Contract

This new role has become available in one of the Local Councils as a 3 month temporary contract. Your new company focuses heavily on community engagement. An exciting work culture and team to be apart of.

**Your new role**

You will be working closely with the manager of cycling strategy, where 2-4 hours per week you will be outside running free pop up ''tune ups'' for cyclists on key cycling routes. Here you will be approaching community members, discussing the cycle with them, engaging with them in any events that are coming up. It is essential that you are good at communicating with people in a friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage and manage suppliers in events and activations
- Contract management of minor services
- Coordinate booking systems including setting up some events and responding to all queries
- Coordinate project evaluation activities including sending out surveys and gathering feedback
- Distribute maps and collateral
- Coordinate with Comms and Marketing team regularly
- Undertake other work activities as directed by the Behaviour Change Project Coordinator or Manager Cycling Strategy
- Work closely with project team members, managers and leads to help deliver major organisational projects efficiently.
- Admin work

**What you'll need to succeed**

- **Experience as a project coordinator or admin person with project coordinating or management experience.**

- **Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with the public regularly**:

- **A good understanding of the Local Government**:

- **Excellent time management skills**

- **Previous experience in doing a lot of community based engagement projects**

- **Previous experience working with a Local/Government body**
