Hays technology is currently partnered with a large multinational mining organisation located in Brisbane CBD. We are seeking to engage an experienced Coordinator for Projects to assist in the delivery of a variety of ICT projects. This role will be a 12-month initial contract with potential to extend

**Your new role**
In this role you will be engaged as Coordinator of Projects role working across a variety of Software and IT Infrastructure projects within the Technology Delivery team.

Key responsibilities:

- Assisting in the delivery of technology projects to the BMA East Coast Technology Delivery team
- Project coordinating, project scheduling, vendor management and cost control.
- Using analytical and technical skills to ensure projects remain on track
- Managing small projects
- Assisting in the delivery of technology roadmaps
- Assisting the broader Technology function to deliver value through a customer-centric approach and continuous improvements.
- Maintaining a strong engagement with stakeholders to ensure strategy and priorities are aligned.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role such as project or program coordination, project management, Business Analysis or scheduling positions
- Good stakeholder & vendor communication negotiations skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of using Microsoft Project.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
- Experience specifying and working on virtual machines, or cloud infrastructure.

Desirable Skills
- Experience with MS SharePoint, Office 365, PlanView, A/SPMF, capital approval, MS Teams.
- Data Analytics and Data science exposure and interest will be desirable.
- Knowledge of Project Controls will be desirable.
- Microsoft IIS expertise.
