About the Role

Team Global Express (TGE) are seeking an ambitious and driven Account Manager - Regional Sales to join our Sales team. This role will be responsible for selling and onboarding all new business deals in the Local Customer Partner Programme. Agents, Branches, Collection Points & Partners form a part of the Tier 1 & Tier 2 model empowered to send through leads from their local area. It will be your job to manage the new business nationally, and you will play an integral role in the development of the programme. This is a key strategic priority for Team Global Express. You will be joining the organisation during an exciting growth phase, we’re on a journey of winning market share through building strong relationships with new customers and delivering exceptional customer service.

This role will initially be located near Brisbane airport for approximately the first 6 months, with parking onsite. Afterwards it will be located in Karawatha.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a clear process for contacting customers in order to optimise customer experience and maintain appropriate customer contact levels on behalf of our LCP’s.
- Conduct research in order to gain a full understanding of each customer’s business.
- Introduce other TGE services to strengthen and foster the relationship.
- Drive key strategic objectives to support the growth nationally for the Programme.
- Support all Local Customer Partners throughout the onboarding of their new customers.
- Identify new revenue opportunities, effectively qualify & sell to all customers within lead pipeline.
- Clearly track all progress with customer leads in line with SLA’s
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with management, operational staff and drivers.
- Complete a “Share of Wallet” conversation to achieve growth targets for the Regional Channel and individual targets.
- Maintain the profile of all customers within the portfolio within our CRM Salesforce.
- Review, integrity check and ensure all revenue, rates, cost modelling, billing details and contractual arrangements are in system and valid.
- Establish competitor/market information profile and report market activities to management.
- Report to the Sales Manager, Regional Inside Sales on a weekly basis as to customers contacted, new services signed up, quotes, customers in jeopardy and significant issues

About You

Are you a proactive and resilient Account Manager that is looking for a new challenge? As a self-starter you will have a passion for sales, hitting targets and supporting customers. You will also enjoy researching your market to ensure you identify any gaps and additional opportunities. A good mix of being a hunter and a farmer with a slant towards hunting will see you succeed in this role.

- Ability to establish rapport and build business relationships across multiple layers within each customer.
- High level consultative selling and negotiation skills to both existing and new customers.
- Strong customer centric approach
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Broad business and commercial experience and knowledge.
- Organisation and time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- High level presentation skills.
- Budget management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability and comprehension.
- Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality.
