**EGR**is one of Queensland's largest manufacturing operations with headquarters and state of the art manufacturing facilities located in Brisbane. With over 900 staff worldwide, EGR is a market leader in design and produces products for local and overseas automotive markets.

We are seeking Extrusion Line Operator for our Plastic Extrusion Manufacturing Division. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering an immediate start.

**Tasks will include**:

- Working within an advanced manufacturing environment;
- Pre-assembly & packaging of products
- Use of basic hand/power tools; and
- Machine Operating

**To be successful you must have the following;**
- Able to work full time hours + overtime as required
- Current **Forklift Licence**is preferred but not required
- **Physically fit** (able to lift 25kgs)
- Full working rights within Australia
- **Must be willing to relocate in Brisbane**

**What you'll do**:

- Set up, start, and operate extrusion lines according to production schedules.
- Monitor machine performance, temperature, speed, and pressure to maintain product quality.
- Perform quality checks on extruded products (e.g., dimensions, surface finish, thickness).
- Ensure proper handling of raw materials, including loading resins, additives, and colorants.
- Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports and quality logs.
- Clean, maintain, and perform basic preventive maintenance on extrusion equipment.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines at all times.
- Communicate any production issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.

The hourly rate for this position is $36.23 per hour.

Pay: $35.00 - $36.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Point Cook VIC 3030: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
