Bar Sopra is looking for a Bar Manager to join our small team:
About Bar Sopra:
Bar Sopra is a small and intimate neighbourhood bar offering boutique Australian and International wines, seasonal cocktails and mediterranean inspired small shared plates. We are open 6 days a week from 4pm, open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Bar Manager will be taking over the daily operations of the venue including:

- Manage and assist in developing a strong team

*Ensure level of customer service is maintained
- Create cocktail list and introduce new ideas, regularly update the wines and drinks menu seasonally
- Maintain operations within budget requirements, improve daily operations
- Do weekly reporting on performance and operations of the venue and come up with strategies to improve.
- Review and analyse the daily operational needs maintaining beverage, labour, product and expenses on budget
- Maintaining a vibrant and inviting atmosphere, ensuring the venue is always immaculate
- Managing strong financial controls as well as initiating and executing growth strategies to increase top line sales.

Required skills:

- Have held a managerial or supervisor position in a bar or restaurant
- Ability to lead, motivate and manage staff
- Extensive knowledge of spirits and wine
- Knowledge of licensing laws and venue compliance including RSA
- Strong organisational skills
- Prepared to work flexible hours including weekends

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Night shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
- Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Potts Point, NSW 2011: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
