**About the role**

Working as a member of the Impact Partnerships team, this fantastic Major Gifts role oversees a portfolio of WWF Australia’s most high-profile and generous friends and supporters, and is responsible for strengthening WWF’s ability to achieve its strategic objectives through the generation and growth of sustainable major gift, trust and foundation and grants support. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager Philanthropy, Major Gifts, the role offers opportunities to grow your revenue development career within a supportive team environment.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of both prospects and existing donors across both major donors and trust and foundations
- Drive the full lifecycle of donor engagement (identification, research, cultivation, pre-solicitation, solicitation, negotiation, and stewardship)
- Support in the development of impactful and meaningful cases for support

**Skills, knowledge and experience**
- A background in building and managing relationships with philanthropic donors
- Knowledge of developing and implementing engagement plans for both new and existing donors
- Ability to lead on all aspects of the donor journey from prospect through to ask
- Experience delivering against revenue targets
- A commitment to ethical standards of behaviour with an ability to exercise good judgement and discretion
- Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience in requesting and gaining philanthropic support
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and high-level networking skills and experience in building value-add relationships with a diverse range of people
- Highly competent in project management, data analysis and reporting utilising digital tools (e.g.CRMs)
- Strong initiative and drive, and ability to work both autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams
- A passion and commitment to the work of WWF
