Develop and implement the strategic direction and design approach for our supported living lab.

Our supported living lab create solutions to specific problems within the supported living / supported accommodation ecosystem. These are larger, complex problems that would benefit from a design-based approach.

We are looking for a creative thinker who can lead a team and be responsible for;
- Providing strategic leadership for the Lab,
- Managing the day to day operation of the Lab,
- Creating and implementing a design innovation approach,
- Identifying key internal and external stakeholders,
- Establishing relationships with the aim of developing design-based, best practice, solutions.
- Fostering bottom-up innovation by Northcott employees, at all levels of the organisation.
- Ensuring the Lab operates in line with service budget,
- Monitoring and critically analyses Lab performance,
- Utilise multi channel marketing and engagement strategies to promote the work of the Lab, NI and the specific initiatives of the Lab,
- Ensuring all aspects of the Lab actively and meaningfully includes people with disability and/or their families/carers,

We are looking for someone who aligns with our values and is Innovative, Respectful and Brave.

Previous skills, experience and attribute wise we see you as having:

- 3+ years of senior management experience within the disability services sector and/or human services sector
- 10+ years experience within the disability services and/or human services sectors both at frontline and managerial levels.
- Experience supporting change management processes which see employees embrace new strategies and/or methodologies.
