**About the role**
- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Monitor arrival and dispatch of specimens and forms, where applicable, in a timely manner
- Perform data entry where applicable
- Filing and retrieval of specimens, where applicable
- Maintain work station/area adequately, such as general housekeeping
- Flexible working hours.
- Ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as required

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:

- Specimen processing and data entry experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to cope and thrive in a busy environment
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and work as a team
- Understanding the importance of following procedures accurately
- A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
- Previous laboratory experience and exposure to medical terminology would be desirable, but not essential
