**THE POSITION**
We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join our team. This role will support the team in planning, managing and supervising labour, vehicle production and facilities, to ensure that processing operations run effectively and efficiently.
This role is suitable for someone who has previous experience in handling Yard vehicle movements and leading a team.
**What you will do**:
- Resource management in line with processing forecasts
- Allocate labour in line with daily vehicle arrivals/departures; supervise and plan vehicle despatch
- Manage and monitor operational areas performance levels to ensure teams are meeting product and quality KPI's
- Work flow of Arrivals, Despatch, Preservation and associated areas on a daily basis
- Leadership of site processing teams, and identifying training and skills needs
- Maintain the employee training record and Processing Skills Matrix
- Overseeing appropriate safety, quality and behavioural standards, identifying and correcting any OH&S issues
- Promote a high-performance, continuous improvement team culture with a focus towards Safety, Quality and Customer Service
- Perform quality audits and implement corrective actions
- Communicating job expectations and ensure that assigned tasks are completed accurately and within a timely manner

- Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience
- Reliable and a dedicated person with drive and energy
- Show initiative and flexibility in your approach to work
- High attention to detail
- Ability to operate mobile plant equipment.
- A strong understanding of OHS requirements in the workplace
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
