**The Role**

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Concrete and Aggregates Technical Supervisor to join the team within our laboratory in Port Melbourne. The purpose of this role is to supervise and undertake concrete and aggregate testing and to lead the the Port Melbourne Team.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversight of future laboratory technicians working at the Port Melbourne lab.
- Ensuring the lab is operated safely, efficiently and complies with all specified testing requirements.
- Oversight of laboratory equipment calibration program and that appropriate records are maintained.
- Communicate the expectations for safety and sustainability amongst the broader team at any worksite through visible leadership,
- Ensures compliance of the laboratory to NATA requirements.
- Ensures all future Port Melbourne laboratory technicians are appropriately qualified and training records are maintained.
- Scheduling and allocation of all internal and external testing companies to ensure project and assessment conformance.
- Internal and external site visits to ensure quality assurance of both internal and external customers.
- Working side by side with Technical Supervisors on Customer related tasks ie. Technical disputes, data acquisition for projects

**What you will need to succeed**
- Experience in construction materials testing - concrete and aggregates
- Certificate III in Lab Operations or prior NATA signatory from an approved NATA laboratory.
- Analytical with the ability to present complex analyses as useable management information
- Good people management experience
- Collaborative and Innovative
- Well organised and a self-starter
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently interact and interface between operations and sales and marketing

We own five concrete plants, a hard rock aggregate quarry & modern batch plants are located at Deer Park, Campbellfield, Hallam, Port Melbourne and Gisborne.
